McMINNVILLE, ORE. – Although the Wildcats got on the scoreboard first and early although they were not able to keep their momentum throughout the match.
 
Irvin Figueroa was able to get the Wildcats on the board in the 12^th minute as he took a free kick and was able to place it into the top right-hand corner. 
 
The Lutes were able to tie the game up in the 21^st minute as Archie Caldwell received a pass from Joe Sammartino and was able to tap the ball into the lower left corner of the net. Ej Hurt put Pacific Lutheran ahead in the 35^th minute has he buried a shot into the upper right corner of the net. 
 
In the 76^th minute Joe Sammartino extended the Lutes lead to 3-1 after he took a pass from Derek Stone and went one on one with the Wildcats goalkeeper, Nick Van Kleek.
