FOREST GROVE, Ore. –
Kory Oleson came off the bench to score a team-high 19 points and reserve Genna Hughes added another 11, leading the Linfield Wildcats to a 70-65 Northwest Conference road victory over the Pacific Boxers Saturday afternoon at Stoller Center.
Thanks to Oleson and Hughes' output, the Linfield reserves outscored the Boxer bench 39-16.
Shooting a season-best 51 percent from the field, the Wildcats led for all but 3 minutes, 16 seconds, though the Boxers were in position to win the game even into the final minute.

Molly Danielson hit 6 of 10 from close range on her way to 13 points.
Bailey McDevitt added 12 points in a starting role.
Oleson hit all eight of her free throw attempts while contributing eight rebounds and two assists. Backup point guard

Linfield limited itself to 15 turnovers, a season-low. The Wildcats cashed in a season-best 76 percent of their free throw opportunities.

Jenee Brown scored a game-high 23 points on 9 of 14 shooting. Liana Takana added 15 points but coughed up five turnovers.
How it played out
With the game tied at 65, Danielson's basket with 38 seconds left was followed by three free throws from Hughes. The 5-0 run clinched the outcome in Linfield's favor.
Prior to that sequence, the Wildcats had built a six-point advantage, 61-55, with 5:06 to play, only to watch as the Boxers pulled even on Wesel's jumper.
Linfield led by as many as 13 in the second quarter after Hughes canned a layup with 6:44 left to put the 'Cats in front 30-17.
Where they stand
The Wildcats pushed squared their season record at 3-3. Linfield is 1-1 in the NWC. Pacific remained winless this season, dropping to 0-7, 0-1 in conference play.
