PERSONAL INFORMATION
Majoring in management and wine studies.
WHY LINFIELD? I decided to attend Linfield not only for its great basketball program but to study wine in the heart of the Willamette Valley. A liberal arts education has already opened up doors of opportunity that I would have never imagined possible.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student athlete means being a part of something bigger than yourself. The Linfield Athletics program is about being All In, and testing yourself to reach your limits.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? Being a double major, along with being one of the first students to graduate with a wine studies degree. I have been able to make connections within the industry of others that have also participated in athletics during their school careers.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus for now is to get my masters degree in wine abroad in Europe. Eventually I would like to make my way back to the Willamette Valley and purchase a winery to make and sell my own label of wine. I have already made connections within the masters through Linfield wine. Also, being able to travel and meet pioneering wine makers and growers in Oregon has inspired me to take such an endeavor.
