WHY LINFIELD? As I stepped onto campus as a high school senior, I felt a sense of community. It was a place where I saw myself being able to grow as a student, an athlete, and as a person. The focus on academics allows me to excel as a student while still being able to complete.
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in athletics has taught me to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
 
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN??? The best Linfield class I’ve taken is Economics of football in England. Throughout the duration of this course, we studied the way structural differences generate distinct decisions and yield different economic outcomes, and utilize the tools of economic analysis to critically evaluate and compare the two models (England v. the U.S.) in terms of both input (labor) and product markets. As a Linfield soccer player and economics major, there’s no better course I could’ve taken.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? My greatest inspirations in my life are my parents. They came to an entirely new country, where they didn’t even speak the language, with nothing and have given me everything. They are the most loving and hardworking people I know, and I have them to thank for all of my achievements.
