WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?

I chose to Linfield for a multitude of reasons. I loved the smaller community and family feel on campus, with smaller class sizes, an involved atmosphere, and a very large student-athlete population. I really felt welcomed and like Linfield could become a place I loved to call home. They also have incredible academics and are known for their nursing program, which I am very interested in.

WHAT IS THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU HAVE TAKEN AND WHY?

The best Linfield class I have taken would be INQS the Good Life. It allowed us to explore many different large topics and experiences and why we have the opinions we do, while seeing our other classmates takes as well.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?

My greatest inspiration in life would be Tyler Harvey, my friend who passed away due to Sarcoma Cancer in 2025. He was an absolute light, who carried himself beautifully even when he fought his battle with cancer. The best friend you could have asked for and he wore the number 13 in baseball which is why I do as well. He is my why and I play each day for him.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE SO FAR?

My favorite memory is when my freshman year one of my best friends scored her first goal and we all got to celebrate.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?

At Linfield being a student-athlete to me is prioritizing and succeeding in my academics so that I can have the incredible opportunity to pour my all into my sport. With balance between the two they both can be motivators for the other. When succeeding in school it opens more opportunity for me to then really focus on soccer. The professors, my coach, and my team will have a huge impact on my success as I know how supported I am already.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?

Participating in sports has reminded and grounded me in being a part of something bigger than myself. Sports bring together so many different types of people from different backgrounds, and that has opened my perspective to so many situations that are different than mine. Sports give you a family outside of blood-related that you could support and love and be supported and loved by. This tight knit team atmosphere has made me a better person by widening my perspective on all situations and backgrounds and loving each teammate like family.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE...

Individually my goals are to play composed as a central midfielder, distribute the ball, contribute to goal scoring, and eventually win a first team award. Collectively for my team, I want to be the best teammate I can be, uplifting my teammates, looking for team wins, and ultimately looking to make it to the tournament together.
