WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I chose to Linfield for a multitude of reasons. I loved the smaller community and family feel on campus, with smaller class sizes, an involved atmosphere, and a very large student-athlete population. I really felt welcomed and like Linfield could become a place I loved to call home. They also have incredible academics and are known for their nursing program, which I am very interested in.
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
At Linfield being a student-athlete to me is prioritizing and succeeding in my academics so that I can have the incredible opportunity to pour my all into my sport. With balance between the two they both can be motivators for the other. When succeeding in school it opens more opportunity for me to then really focus on soccer. The professors, my coach, and my team will have a huge impact on my success as I know how supported I am already.
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Participating in sports has reminded and grounded me in being a part of something bigger than myself. Sports bring together so many different types of people from different backgrounds, and that has opened my perspective to so many situations that are different than mine. Sports give you a family outside of blood-related that you could support and love and be supported and loved by. This tight knit team atmosphere has made me a better person by widening my perspective on all situations and backgrounds and loving each teammate like family.
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I see myself settled down in California or back home in Colorado doing something impactful in the medical field. I would love to be married with kids and involved in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. My faith is a large steppingstone for me, and I am excited to see where I can take it alongside my career in medicine, and my growing family.
