WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because of the “student first” approach, where your teachers can recognize you and care for your learning individually. Athletics-wise, I chose Linfield because of the great coaching staff and competitive energy they bring.
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
It means dedication and building strong relationships. It also means a more connected and competitive environment.
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
I believe that participating in sports of most of my life has given me many benefits to my character. Competing has made me stronger mentally, it has shown me what I’m capable of, and how I am able to bounce back. Being part of a team has made me more empathetic and inclusive of those around me.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I hope to be working in forensics or another field of interest that I lean into, and I hope to be on my journey to see the world with people I love.
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN?
Organic Chemistry. This year long course pushed me as a student, and I looked forward to lab every week.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE?
My mother, Sandy, has been my greatest inspiration. She is resilience and optimism personified; two values I try to carry into everyday life.

My greatest lesson I have learned while competing in athletics has been to take every day, every practice, every drill, one at a time. Additionally, doing everything with intention, from fitness & resting, to everyday mundane life tasks, intentionality creates meaning.
