WHY LINFIELD?
Good community, I felt welcomed, and wanted by not only the coaches, but the teachers and players that I talked to.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Although I am able to be a student, I’m also able to be an athlete. I will balance my education and sport and pursue not only my education, but my soccer career.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
It’s made me more confident in myself and helped me grow as a person. I’ve been able to learn I’m a great leader and have learned communication skills.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I hope to be in law school or graduated from law school and making a difference in the world. I also hope to be living a happy and healthy life with those around me.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN?
My favorite class at Linfield has been Lifespan Development Psychology. I found it fascinating to explore the psychological stages of life and gain insight into the unique challenges and benefits that come with each stage.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE?
My parents have been the greatest inspirations in my life. Their unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in me have shaped who I am today. They’ve made countless sacrifices to provide for me, always offering guidance, wisdom, and unconditional love. Watching their resilience and determination in the face of challenges has taught me the true value of perseverance, and the importance of staying committed to my goals, no matter the obstacles.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN...
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned from competing in athletics at Linfield is the value of resilience. The sport has taught me how to push through adversity, stay focused under pressure, and bounce back from setbacks with determination. Whether it’s a tough loss, an injury, a grueling practice, or balancing academics and athletics, soccer has shown me that growth comes from persistence and embracing challenges head-on. This mindset has shaped not only the way I play, but also how I approach life beyond the field.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE...
As a Linfield student-athlete, my individual goals are to continue growing both on and off the field by staying disciplined, working hard, and striving for consistent improvement in my performance. Collectively, my goal for the team is to keep building our strong, supportive culture where we push each other to succeed, stay united through challenges, and compete at the highest level with integrity and passion. Together, I believe we can achieve great things and leave a lasting impact on the program.
