WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the welcoming community of both students and staff around the campus. I also fell in love with the soccer program and felt really lucky to have found some amazing women to compete alongside with.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? To me, a student-athlete is one of my proudest accomplishments. I have learned what it means to be a team player as well as staying organized and on top of my schoolwork. These are qualities I would have never learned if it were not for sports.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? Being a student-athlete, you learn qualities about yourself that you would not normally find. I have learned what it means to be mentally tough and how to set high but achievable physical and emotional goals.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? My best class taken at Linfield would have to be physical education in youth. It opened my eyes to how important physical education is for children. It made me realize that being a PE teacher is a job I want to pursue.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My focus is to compete and work hard every day when I'm out on the field. Linfield is helping me achieve this by giving me supportive teammates as well as talented and wise coaches that push me every day during competition.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? The greatest inspirations for me have been my mom and dad! They’ve been by my side and my biggest fans since the beginning.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME… Hanging out with teammates. We have a strong bond on and off the field so we enjoy spending lots of time together.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… The biggest lesson I've learned while being here is to trust the process. No matter the day or how frustrating it might be to not see the results you want right away, if you keep grinding and focusing on all the things you can do right, the results will show.

AS A LINFIELD-STUDENT ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… To be the best version of ourselves. Being a part of a team means to look out for those around you and encourage growth. Everyone has a different learning line. Being a teammate who is there to help those along is one way to make a team closer and ensure everyone is on the same page.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career is meeting so many supportive people. My coaches and teammates made this Linfield experience so memorable. I know the bonds will last even beyond my Linfield career.
