WHY LINFIELD? Linfield always felt like home since the moment I stepped on campus when I was just a sophomore in high school while moving my brother into his freshman dorm here. I felt like I was a part of the Linfield family before I ever attended Linfield through watching my brother compete on the football team. I searched for this feeling in all the other schools I was considering, and no other school compared.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? It means I get to spend every day playing with my best friends. I get to be a part of something bigger than myself. I get to contribute to the Linfield family that made me feel special before I was ever even a student here. I hopefully can show future Wildcats why this place is special.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? I think the fact that I did not think I wanted to play soccer in college until after my senior soccer season was over makes me unique. Most athletes that play in college start their recruitment process in their sophomore and junior year and for me it did not start until 9 months before I started at Linfield.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to be a therapist specializing in sexual assault and sexual violence. All my professors and advisors have been so supportive of my career aspirations and have given me all of the resources and tools they can to help me progress in my education & career path. I did not always know what exactly I wanted to do with my life, but my psychology professors are all such amazing people and have helped me find my passion within this field and they have inspired me to make a difference in the world.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? Psychology of Women & Gender, because it made me realize what I wanted to do with my life.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Read, hike and on my hammock.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Fortune, Favors, Preparation.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield athletic career has been meeting my teammates, they have been my favorite memories and are far better than any award or win.
