WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because of the combination of sports and academics. Being able to play the sport I love but still challenge myself in the classroom, drew me to this school. The small college town, the beautiful campus, and the best support system of the Linfield community makes this place home.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a Student-Athlete means having the opportunity to simultaneously be the best athlete you can be and the best student you can be. It means writing papers on buses while on the way to a game, studying every free moment during the day so you can focus on training later that afternoon, but it also means being able to represent your school in your sport. The Linfield staff allows for student athletes to thrive in both the classroom and on the field.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? The balance of school and sports is a tricky one to master but being a Student-Athlete is incredibly rewarding. You are allowed to continue the sport you love, make some of the best friends and still get the education you need to be successful.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I am working toward being an athletic trainer. Linfield is helping me achieve this by creating learning opportunities inside and out of the classroom.
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? My best class at Linfield was Anatomy, the human body is awesome and so is professor Debbie Canepa.
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Hiking, camping and traveling.
