Julia Vaughan-Howard is in her seventh year as assistant coach with the Wildcat women’s soccer team.
Vaughan-Howard participated in four seasons of varsity soccer at Linfield, lettering twice, and despite a career-ending injury sustained during her senior season, continued to stay involved in the program by serving as team captain. She started all 19 contests as a junior in 2012, tallying a career-high three goals en route to Northwest Conference honorable mention consideration.
The Haines, Ore., native earned 11 varsity letters in soccer, basketball and softball at Baker High School, achieving all-Greater Oregon League honors in all three sports.
Vaughan-Howard graduated from Linfield with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. Her older brother, Jackson, is head coach of the Wildcat softball program. Her husband, Adam Howard, led the Linfield men's soccer program from 2016 until 2019.
