WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because their softball program has an impressive reputation. They obviously have a pretty impressive record but I've also heard they have a great team environment. When I did my campus visit, it felt like home to me. Linfield will also push me academically.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE MEAN TO YOU? As all of my coaches have told me, student comes before athlete. You work hard in school first, and then on the field. I think that being a student-athlete makes someone a more rounded individual. We learn commitment, time management, and hard work. I'm excited to be pushed to my potential at Linfield both in the classroom and on the field.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? During my junior and senior year of high school, I was taking college classes at Clark College while playing softball. I am proud of ending with a college GPA of 3.86 and earning my AA degree during a very busy high school season.

WHATS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My future career is physical therapy. I needed to find a school that would help me achieve my prerequisites for Physical Therapy school. Linfield has a pre-Physical Therapy program that will help me stay on track and meet all requirements. It was a perfect fit based on what I want to do for a career.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? My favorite class I’ve taken at Linfield is Nutrition, because I enjoyed learning about how what we eat affects our bodies, especially for student-athletes.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Doing outdoor activities, such as hiking, wake surfing and snowboarding.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…The importance of being a team player.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my career was traveling to California and Arizone to win games and having fun with my teammates.
