WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? I really liked the coaching staff, and the team environment and Linfield has a great education program.
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? It means I am a student first and always striving to achieve academic excellence while balancing my time so that I can achieve athletic excellence as well. Being an athlete not only is fun for me and is a great way to stay active, but it helps me to stay mentally sharp for school, too by being a great outlet.
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? It’s taught me many valuable life lessons and skills that I will forever take with me. It’s taught me how to overcome failure, setbacks, and injuries. It’s taught me the importance of dedication, teamwork, and being a great person on and off the field. It gives me another family that helps better me as a person and encourages me to strive to be my best.
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? In 10 years, I hope to be a teacher, maybe married, maybe starting a family. I really want to still be loving soccer and playing in a coed league like my parents still do.
 
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN??? My favorite class I've taken at Linfield was my Ed 150 class. It was my first education class of freshman year and I got to go into a kindergarten classroom at Sue Buel elementary school every Tuesday and Thursday as part of my class time which was so awesome.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? My parents have been the greatest inspiration in my life. They also played college soccer and have always supported me and understood me. They have been even more influential in the way they've raised me, and I strive to be the kind, confident, respectful, and humble people that they are.
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... Everything we do is for a purpose and should be treated with the same diligence. That means that recovery is just as important as lifting, running, and practicing.
 
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goal is to better myself each and every day. Every practice, every run, every lift, I hope to get 1% better. But besides showing up for myself, I show up for my team and it's my goal that our team continues to show up for each other in everything they do.
