WHY LINFIELD? 
I chose to attend Linfield because I love the small campus community. I value the idea of being more than just a number at a big school, instead being known by name by my professors and classmates. The campus is beautiful and the elementary education program at Linfield is impressive. McMinnville is also a beautiful area and very welcoming!
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being able to continue my passion of playing soccer at the collegiate level at Linfield has always been a goal of mine. Soccer has always been my safe space and escape from reality, so I am so excited knowing that I will have this positive outlet to look forward to. Being a student-athlete takes passion, commitment, and dedication. I am so ready to be a part of something bigger than myself while also gaining a secondary family.
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? 
I feel as though it has made me a more well-rounded person. I have gained so many positive qualities from participating in sports such as leadership, good sportsmanship, competitiveness, dedication, discipline and balance amongst academics, athletics, personal life, and other activities.
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I will have my master’s degree in elementary education, pursuing my passion of teaching and inspiring the next generation of youth. I see myself being happily married and hopefully starting a family of my own. I also plan to continue my hobbies of playing soccer and golf.
 
WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY?
The best class I have taken at Linfield was my Equity and Culturally Responsive teaching class, because I learned so much about the history of education, socialization, and the foundation of why our society is the way it is today. I also learned about how as a future teacher, I can combat these issues and approach teaching in an equitable and meaningful way.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My parents have always been my greatest inspiration because they fuel my life with constant love, kindness, encouragement, meaning, and always motivate me to be the best version of myself. They have gone through more than I can imagine getting me to where I am today and the best way to pay them back is to make their sacrifices worth it by giving it all I got.
