WHY LINFIELD? I wanted to go to a liberal arts school for the opportunity to explore many different career fields because I wasn’t sure what my passion was, I knew Linfield would give me to opportunity to take a wide array of classes from many different departments.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means pushing yourself mentally and physically even when you are tired. It also means learning to manage your time well and to put your team before yourself.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am passionate about sustainability and being eco-friendly. Student-athletes tend to travel a lot whether by bus or plane which increase our carbon footprint, so it’s important to acknowledge that and try to reduce our individual impacts on the planet in other areas, like reducing single use plastic waste!
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to work in sustainability with a company or organization to help our society become more environmentally conscious.
