WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield for it's amazing nursing program and small campus size. I have always wanted a smaller campus and Linfield is the perfect fit! I also was drawn to Linfield because of the success of our softball program and I love being a part of a winning program!
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete is more than waking up early to go lift or staying up late after practice to finish the paper that's due. To me being a student athlete is a great honor because I get to still play the sport I love, while pursuing an education that will help me after my time on the field is over. Being a student athlete means that you have to set an example for others and be an ambassador for your school and take pride in your roll.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? What makes me interesting and unique as a student athlete is that I am able to turn a negative situation into a positive one by seeing what I can take from the experience.
 
WHATS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to become a labor and delivery nurse or a pediatric nurse. Linfield has everything I need to make those goals a reality because of the great career center and advisors. The career center has already set me up with job shadowing opportunities and is always available to answer any of my academic questions. My advisor has helped me schedule what my time at Linfield will look like and has helped me plan out a potential study abroad opportunity.
