WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because of how welcoming everyone was, and the high level of education offered. I also really liked the way that the softball team and coaching staff interacted, and it was something I wanted to be a part of.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete means pushing myself every day to prove I can be successful in the classroom, on the field, and in life. I get to be around others that have the same aspirations that I do and push me to be the best version of myself possible while still having fun.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Participating in softball has made me a better person by teaching me how to be disciplined, responsible, and respect, as well as, time management, how to overcome mental hurdles and so much more.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I see myself happy while working with student-athletes!

WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best class I have taken at Linfield was Financial Management with Professor Romero. She directed an engaging course, showed that she cared for her students, and helped me to get involved in a Jan-term trip!

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My greatest inspiration in my life is my mom. She is such a hard worker, takes on every challenge that is thrown at her, and continues to show up, even when things get hard. She has taught me how to stand up for myself and how to better myself as a friend, teammate, and daughter every day.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN...
The greatest lesson I have learned while being part of the Linfield softball team has been the importance of "buying in." Once you have bought into a program and believe that it holds a place for you, the more you will get out it. Reflecting back, I wished I had bought into the softball teams’ culture and overall program much sooner. Now, I take so much more pride in everything we do and enjoy the struggles and hard days much more!

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE...
My individual goal is to work as hard as I can and to push my teammates to be the same. I believe that attitude and effort are not only controllable, but they can go a long way and can be infectious. My goal for my team is to focus on the little things as in the end, that tends to be what matters most. Additionally, my hope is that we are able to say that at the end of the year, we worked harder than every team in our conference.
