WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the competitive nature of the school both academically and athletically!
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means that I have more opportunities to better myself as a scholar while becoming a better version of myself for myself and those around me.
 
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? Creative writing! I found it super useful to cope with stress during the season. Reflecting on my writing helps me fine-tune my writing for future classes.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My biggest inspiration is my dad. I’m strong-willed like he is. Seeing how he has grown as a result of his work ethic makes me want to work even harder every day. His work ethic and drive have played a huge role in making me who I am.
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... Mental toughness makes you a better weapon athletically than only being tough physically. Mentally-tough people won’t quit. They make the best out of the worst situations.
 
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... To kick butt in the classroom and on the field.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? Being a student-athlete makes me unique because I can apply ideas from both roles in order to get a better view of the problem or situation.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is in the Microbiology field and Linfield is helping me achieve that by pushing me to be at my best and showing me that the sky is the limit.
