WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I chose to attend Linfield for their academics and softball team.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
What being a student-athlete at Linfield means to me is working hard on and off the field. To get better at my sport while getting a good education.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Participating in sports has taught me how to be organized and have time management. Participating in softball has embraced my character and made me a team player.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I see myself pursuing a career in the medical field and helping out my community in any way I can.

WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY?
Creative Writing was the best Linfield class I've taken because it was fun and allowed me to be genuinely creative. The class pushed me to step outside my comfort zone by experimenting with new styles and ideas I hadn't tried before. It helped me be more open in understanding other people’s perspectives.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My dad has been my greatest inspiration in my life because he has always believed in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself. He pushed me to become the strongest, most determined version of myself, both in sports and school- not because he expected perfection, but because he believed in what I was capable of, even when I didn't. Beyond being my dad, he's been my best friend. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for him.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN...
The greatest lesson I've learned while competing in athletics at Linfield is discipline. It's taught me the importance of committing to routines, managing my time as a student and an athlete, and staying focused even when I felt discouraged. Discipline meant putting in the work on harder days and holding myself accountable to higher standards.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE...
As a Linfield student-athlete, my individual goals are to keep improving, stay disciplined, and give my best effort both in school and softball. I want to be someone my teammates can count on and lead by example through hard work. Collectively, my goal for my team is to play together, support one another, and push each other to get better every day. I want us to have strong team chemistry, compete at a high level, and enjoy the process while working toward success together.
