WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? The energy and atmosphere of not only the campus, but also the softball team seemed to really be what I was looking for in a school. I knew that coming from a small town and small school it wouldn't really make sense for me personally to attend a bigger University with class selection being limited and the overwhelming sensation of the amount of students. It also just provided me with that hometown feeling, which was exactly what I was looking for.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? I take pride in knowing that I am blessed with the opportunity to be a part of this amazing program. I've been a student-athlete for my whole life and know how difficult it can be at times, but I truly believe that it teaches so many useful skills that not many people have. whether it be time management, teamwork, or a strong mindset, all will be highly useful in the world after sports. I know that being a student-athlete will allow me to have an upper hand on others in my career, as I will continue to learn what it is to be great for the others around me and push myself harder than ever.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has impacted my life in so many amazing ways. It has taught me to be selfless and be an amazing player for my teammates and coaches. Also, being a leader in both the high school and travel level has taught me to discipline myself in order to be a good role model for others. It has showed me how to communicate and work with my teammates on a deeper and more emotional level and how to ride the waves of emotions that come with it.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? In 10 years I hope to be in the profession of physical therapy, preferably working with younger children and athletes. Ideally, this will lead to me opening my own practice and being in control of my own scheduling and other aspects that come with it.
