WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because I loved how supportive the community was to the university. Transferring from a great JUCO program like Lower Columbia, I knew I wanted to transfer to a small university where I didn’t just feel like a number. Linfield is exactly what I was looking for. I also fell in love with the beautiful campus and environment surrounding the city of McMinnville.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete means I am able to compete both on the field and in the classroom. Sports can only get you so far, but a quality education is something that’ll last forever. Being a Linfield student-athlete means I am dedicated to the process of being uncommon.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Growing up playing sports, I’ve learned more than I could’ve ever imagined. Not only has softball taught me how to overcome adversity, but it has also taught me that softball is a game of failure, as is life. You must learn how to deal with those misfortunes and turn them into lessons that help sculpt your character as a person.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I hope to see myself settled down with a beautiful husband and family, working my tail off at my very successful job and never taking the little moments in life for granted.
