WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because on my visit I fell in love with the small school feel, along with how the girls on the softball team made me feel welcome.
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE MEAN TO YOU? Being a student athlete at Linfield means I get to represent my school playing a sport I love, along with getting a well-rounded education.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? What makes me unique is that I am a first-generation college student with parents that never really played any competitive sports. Now I get to play softball at the collegiate level while getting a really good education.
WHATS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is nursing and Linfield has an amazing program dedicated to that exact career path.
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best Linfield class I have taken so far would be Chemistry, because the professor never made the class a dull moment and I feel that the class really set me up to be successful in my other courses.
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Hanging out with my friends and getting outside.
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Appreciate every moment you get of practice, hanging out with teammates or just being in a game-like atmosphere. COVID-19 cut our season short last year and it was really eye opening to see how quickly the game we love could be taken from us. Never take any chance to play your sport for granted.
