Working harder than the average student just to play the sport I love for free.
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? 
I have learned the work hard and become mentally and physically stronger.
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
As a firefighter with a ton a money and a personal trainer job on the side with a nice house and family.
 
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN? 
Ceramics 230 was my favorite class because it gave me the creative freedom to design whatever I wanted, and I truly enjoyed the entire process. I went on to earn my minor in ceramics and now run my own pottery business — something I can proudly credit to the support and encouragement of the art department.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? 
My dad is someone I truly look up to because he leads with kindness, works harder than anyone I know, and always treats people with genuine care. I also admire his ability to connect with anyone — he could make friends with a tree if he wanted to.
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… 
My goal for this team is to play well under pressure and make it back to the World Series for the fourth time. I also want to be a leader who supports my teammates and helps them feel confident as they carry on the program’s strong legacy.
