WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the amazing campus and successful softball program. The Catball atmosphere and the people I met all felt like home.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete means being a student first by being committed to my studies. I’m also really dedicated to my sport. It means I put in the extra work needed to succeed both on the field and in the classroom.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? Anatomy 2 is the best class I have taken at Linfield as I gained valuable, hands-on knowledge of the human body that will help me in my future career. The professors also fostered a welcoming, encouraging, and fun environment for me and my classmates to learn and feel comfortable while doing so.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has made me a better person by teaching me valuable life skills. Through sports, I’ve learned to manage my time, work hard and develop teamwork.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... to work hard and demand excellence in all aspects of my life. Playing under Jackson Vaughan has taught me that if you work hard, you can accomplish anything in life.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I see myself working as a physical therapist somewhere in Oregon or the Northwest.

AS A LINFIELD-STUDENT ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE...  to win a national championship.
