Double majoring in law, rights, and justice, as well as environmental science.
Daughter of Melissa & Robert Valdez.
 
WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I transferred here my freshman year in the spring. I choose Linfield because it felt like home. Linfield supports me in my athletics as well as my academics and for that I’m truly grateful to call Linfield my home.
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete means competing for my sport and teammates around me but also competing in the classroom. I love representing what Linfield is about with student-athletes!
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Sports has made me a better person because it always pushes me to work hard, be a team player, and strive for excellence.
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I see myself hopefully one day playing pro, completing law school and being a lawyer with a husband and kids!
