WHY LINFIELD? I loved the feel of the community. My mom and uncle played basketball at Linfield when they were students here and my aunt works at the college.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? It gives me a sense of pride to represent my school and getting to go out and compete every day!
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to major in education and ultimately coach basketball for a high school I like working and teaching younger students and I am excited to be a part of a really good education program here at Linfield.
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I've taken at Linfield has probably all of my education classes. The ED department here is super thorough and I feel super prepared to start teaching.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My greatest inspiration has been my mom. She has been a huge driving force behind my life and I really admire her perseverance and drive. In addition to being a great Mom, she also played basketball at Linfield and was my first coach!
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Hanging out family, write and taking long naps.
THE GREATEST LESSON OR PRINCIPLE THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… The greatest lesson I have learned is to trust the process and to see it through until the end. Even though things may be hard at first, I learned that keeping true to yourself and putting in the work will take you to where you want to be.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goal is to make a positive impact on both sides of the floor, as well as to help my team to another conference title.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield athletic career was winning the NWC Championship and sharing that moment with the team.
