TOURNAMENT GLANCE
Linfield University is serving as host this week, May 14-16, for the four-team, double-elimination NCAA Division III McMinnville Oregon Regional Softball Tournament. The winner advances to the Super Regional round, May 21-22, at eight campus sites.
Linfield plays Marymount of Arlington, Virginia, (24-17) Thursday to lead off the double-elimination tournament at Del Smith Stadium.
Fellow Northwest Conference member Pacific Lutheran (34-10) is paired against Transylvania of Lexington, Kentucky, (35-11) in Thursday's other opening-round game starting at 1:30 p.m.
TICKETS
As this is a NCAA-sponsored event, admission will be charged each day, including students. All tickets may be purchased at the ticket tent behind Del Smith Stadium on game day.
Ticket prices are as follows:

Seniors, Active Military, Veterans and Students with ID $10
Youth (ages 6-12) $3
5-under Free
Northwest Conference passes will not be honored.

LINFIELD UNIVERSITY WILDCATS (37-6)
•Ranked fifth in the most recent NFCA Top 25 poll, Linfield qualified for NCAA Tournament the 21st time in the last 22 seasons.
•The Wildcats went 3-0 at the NWC Tournament, knocking off regular- season champion PLU twice to claim the program's 13th tournament title and the league's automatic berth to the regional playoffs.
•Linfield leads the nation with 58 home runs, ranks fifth with 349 runs scored and is eighth in Division III in slugging percentage at .569.

Ashlyn Aven leads Division III with 20 home runs.
•Outfielder
Meara Sain's 28 doubles top Division III and the junior ranks fourth in total hits at 71. She added 13 stolen bases and 17 walks.
Pitcher
Tyler McNeley posted a 22-4 record, including 150 strikeouts and six shutouts. Freshman pitcher
Destiny Cornwell went 15-2 with three shutouts and 61 strikeouts.
Coach
Jackson Vaughan enters the NCAA Tournament with a 25-year record of 931-212-2, including a 94-44 mark in the NCAA postseason.

PACIFIC LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY LUTES (34-10)
•
PLU won its first Northwest Conference regular-season title since 2003.
•The 22nd-ranked Lutes are making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since winning the Division III title in 2012.

Paola Garcia set PLU single-season records for hits, RBIs, and total bases.

Kamalani Doctor leads PLU with 11 doubles while driving in 41 runs.

Paige Wilson went 20-3 in the circle, posting a 2.35 ERA with 149 strikeouts.

Traci Barrett was named NWC Coach of the Year for the first time. Barrett enters the McMinnville Regional with a career coaching record of 186-122.
Raegan Gibson
TRANSYLVANIA UNIVERSITY PIONEERS (35-11)
•The Pioneers are making their sixth appearance in the NCAA playoffs and first since 2018.
Senior
Raegan Gibson, the 2025 Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Year, has posted a 9-4 record in the circle with 49 strikeouts.

Maddie Goddard has been a strong presence in the circle, going 11-1 with 48 strikeouts and a 1.22 ERA.

Avery Parsons is hitting a team-best .421 with 15 doubles, five triples, five home runs and 26 stolen bases.

Ella Steczynski has contributed a team-high 60 hits, 38 RBI and 29 stolen bases while hitting .400.

Kailey Goetz were selected to the Heartland Conference All-Tournament Team.

Shawn Hendrickson is in his 18th season of coaching, including the last 12 at Transylvania. He owns a career record of 457-213 that includes a 338-134 mark at Transylvania.
Kaylee Atkins
MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY SAINTS (24-17)
•After going 11-1 in the Atlantic East Conference to earn the No. 1 seed in the AEC Tournament, the Saints repeated as tournament champions, defeating Saint Elizabeth and Newmann (twice).
•Atlantic East Pitcher of the Year
Bailey Demusz went 8-0 in the circle, posting 1.90 ERA with 100 strikeouts and three shutouts.

Kaylee Atkins was named Atlantic East Player of the Year after hitting a team-best .462 with 16 doubles and 38 RBIs. She sported a 1.142 OPS against AEC opponents with three home runs and 38 RBI.
•
Leigh Murray-Winstead sports a 57-56 career record in her second season as Marymount head coach. She served as an assistant since the program's founding in 2022. The Saints staff was named Atlantic East Coaching Staff of the Year.
•Seven Saints were named to Atlantic East All-Conference Teams.
