WHY LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because I felt right at home as soon as I got on campus. Being from a small little beach town, Linfield felt very similar to home. The tradition here at Linfield was also something that impressed me and made me want to be a part of.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE MEAN TO YOU?
Being a Student-Athlete at Linfield to me means holding myself at a higher standard than just average.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE?
One thing that makes our team unique is that we rarely ever get tired of seeing or being around each other. We spend roughly 3-4 hours a day with each other for 6 days out of the week, for 5 straight months and still don’t get tired of each other.

WHAT’S NEXT AFTER LINFIELD?
My career focus is law enforcement and Linfield is helping me achieve this by connecting me with the right people and being a helping hand when I need it!

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? Any of the psychology classes offered are my best classes at Linfield. I may be biased, but specifically the abnormal psychology seminar was my most favorite class. We had the opportunity to hear from a guest speaker that talked about her life with schizophrenia and was truly one of the most moving experiences I’ve ever had.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Reading books, working out, spending time with roommates and catching up with old friends.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…To get better every single day, no matter what it is. That’s the number one motto of the program, nothing else matters other than to always strive to get better as a person, player, student, daughter, etc.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career is definitely hosting the super-regional tournament my junior year. You can’t recreate that type of electric environment. I remember getting my first hit in game one and thinking “I just got a base hit in a super-regional game, this is insane.” It is by far the most intense and hyped series I’ve ever played in!
