WHY LINFIELD?
The second I stepped foot on campus, Linfield felt like home. I could instantly tell that this was the place for me to excel in the classroom and also on the field. The athletes, students, coaches, professors and alumni all make Linfield unique. Everyone is unified and supports the success of others.
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE MEAN TO YOU?
Being a Student-Athlete at Linfield means holding myself to a higher standard than others. We are not only expected to be great in the classroom but also on the field. We have more responsibility to our teammates, coaches and others to uphold class and prestige.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE?
My freshman year, Linfield provided me with the opportunity to be a dual-sport athlete and play softball along with soccer. I also had the unique opportunity to travel abroad due to the flexibility and uniqueness of the athletic department's relationship with our strong study abroad program. Studying abroad provided me with a profound respect of living in a different country which in turn allowed me to gain a different perspective as a student-athlete.
 
WHAT'S NEXT AFTER LINFIELD?
My career focus is to excel within the business field. Ideally, I would love to work in sales. Linfield has provided the opportunity to get to know my professors on a personal level in addition to having a great relationship with my advisors, classmates and alumni.
