WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the atmosphere. It’s a small school with amazing people and it just seemed like it would be a great fit for me. All the athletes on my team were welcoming along with the coaches and other staff. Academically there are many programs and pathways I can pursue.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means performing well both on the field, and in the classroom. The focus is on school first and soccer second. If I’m not doing well in the classroom, then I won’t be doing soccer.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I get the opportunity to give school and soccer 100% and the chance to perform in both. It takes a lot to balance school, athletics, and interpersonal relationships.
