WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the amazing community and because of the opportunity to continue playing at the next level.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means having a support system and being a part of a group working towards similar goals.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I did not start playing lacrosse until my sophomore year of high school, which just shows that if you work hard anything can happen.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to work somewhere in sports and business, Linfield is helping me see all the different paths of that so I can decide what I truly want to do.
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield was Sport Marketing because I enjoyed learning about the behind the scenes of sports and knowing there is a life after retirement in the sports world.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? The senior class is my inspiration because of the obstacles we have had to overcome and the places that we have taken this program.
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME… Spending my time vlogging and creating videos for my YouTube channel.
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Resilience and bouncing back after mistakes. My freshman year I struggled with being way too hard on myself for every little mistake I made and never thinking highly of my skills. It was hard to retrain the way my brain thinks and the way I talk to and about myself but this transformation has made me a better athlete because I no longer dwell on the past but I move forward and become better.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... WIN the NWC!
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield athletic career was beating Whitman at home during my freshman season. It was a pivotal moment for the program and it was very exciting to be a part of history.
