WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the smaller school and the opportunity to further my career in soccer. The academics drove me to choosing the school as well because of the smaller class sizes.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student athlete means every day you are representing your sport and your team as you walk through campus and during classes. You also get to showcase during games what your college offers for all student athletes on campus.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? Both my parents were Student-Athletes at Linfield so it is nice being able to walk in their footsteps and still carrying the name, while also making a name for myself.
WHAT IS NEXT AT LINFIELD? I want to become an elementary teacher and help little kids in the classroom. Linfield gives me the opportunity to get into the elementary school around the area and see what grades I might like more than others and all the professors in the education department are the most caring.
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? Teaching Art, because it was once a week and the professor was a former player, she taught the class really well.
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…With my friends or watching tv.
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Being All-In with whatever you are doing to ensure your best effort and attitude is being put into things.
