The Golf Coaches Association of America announced their annual Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars on Monday morning, highlighting three Wildcats that maintained exceptional grades while excelling on the course during the 2025-26 season. Douglas Bailey, Kellen Hudson, and Ryder Ng were recognized as Linfield's honorees.
 
To earn Scholar All-America, student-athletes at the Division III level must have competed in 50% or more of a team's competitive rounds, maintained a career grade point average of 3.20 or better, and also held a scoring average below 79.0.
 
Junior Douglas Bailey adds the academic honor to his already stellar resume from the 2025-26 season, boasting an adjusted scoring average of 71.6 on Clippd's Scoreboard rankings. He ended the season nationally ranked No. 34 following his T-27-place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championship in Florida last Spring. Bailey is majoring in Accounting, and enters into his senior season in 2026-27.
 
Senior Kellen Hudson graduated last Spring with his degree in Sports Management, posting a 74.6 adjusted scoring average. Hudson carded one win and four top-ten finishes, helping lead the Wildcats to a second-place overall finish at the 2026 Northwest Conference Men's Golf Championship. 
 
Sophomore Ryder Ng also posted a scoring average of 74.6 last season, finishing inside the top-ten three times. Ng is an Economics major, set to compete in his third season with the 'Cats this Fall. 
 
Linfield men's golf is slated to begin the Fall 2026 season on September 28 at the Pacific Lutheran Invite in Dupont, Washington, at The Home Course, returning four of five frequent starters. The 'Cats aim to build on their momentum from last season where they won four consecutive team titles to begin the spring, later finishing second at the Wildcat Invite and NWC Championship, falling just short of the season-long team title to Willamette.
