Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and PING released their annual NCAA Division III All-America honors on Thursday morning, naming junior Wildcat
Douglas Bailey as an Honorable Mention
Bailey was the lone representative on any of the All-America teams from the Northwest Conference. The honor is the first such of his career and concludes a record-breaking 2025-26 season that saw him finish tied for 27 as an individual at the NCAA DIII National Championship in Florida.
His season saw him win three tournaments, soaring up to No. 34 in the nation and No. 7 in the region, individually. He led the Wildcats scoring, posting an adjusted scoring average of 71.6, helping him successfully defend his title at the Northwest Conference Championship, winning with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
The junior from Durham, Oregon, remains atop the Linfield record book for career scoring average, just edging out Alex Fitch '12 who posted a career average of 74.95.
The GCAA has named All-America teams for over a half-century, meanwhile PING golf manufacturer has served as the sponsor since 1991.
