Women's golf freshman Ashlyn Yorimoto continues to impress in her first half of collegiate competition. Yorimoto placed eighth individually at the Clovernook Women's Intercollegiate, posting rounds of 80, 74. Her 74 in the final round is believed to be the lowest by a Wildcat since 2013, earning Northwest Conference Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors. 

In the final round of the Clovernook Women's Intercollegiate in Cincinnati, Ohio, Yorimoto started on the ninth hole, proceeding to make four birdies on the back nine to post a two-under 34 with eight to play. She limited the damage on the inward nine, helping post her career-best 74 and improve ten spots on the leaderboard, finising eighth. 

The Honolulu, Hawaii, native started her collegiate career with four consecutive top-15 finishes in each event this Fall. She boasts an adjusted scoring average of 79.39 and has led the team in each of the Fall tournaments. Yorimoto and the Linfield women's golf team aim to continue to improve over the Winter months, setting their sights on Spring 2027, where the season will pick back up.
