MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Linfield men's soccer fell in their second match of the season on the road, as they were bested 9-0 by the Augsburg Auggies on Sunday.

Radule Bozovic fired the first shot of the game in the 3
rd minute, just missing the goal wide left.
Oliver Blanchard ripped a shot of his own just five-minutes later, sailing over top of the crossbar.
Augsburg broke the scoring drought in the 23
rd minute, scoring in the top-right corner of the 'Cats goal to go up 1-0. The Auggies added a pair of goals in the ensuing 11-minutes, charging out to a commanding 3-0 lead at the break.
The Auggies wasted no time coming out of the halftime breather, scoring five goals in less than a 10-minute span to make it an 8-0 game. Although
Davidson Kathman,
Tate Bliss, and the Wildcat offense did their best to get on the board with multiple attempts late in the match, Augsburg went on to take a 9-0 victory over Linfield.
The Wildcats managed 11 total shots in the game, to the Auggies 19, with one of the 11 finding the target. Kathman led the way with three shots in 52 minutes off of the bench, while starters Bozovic and Blanchard took two apiece. Goalkeeper
Jacob Toves nearly split time with
Colby Reese on Sunday, as Toves made one save in 55 minutes, while Reese had four in his 35 minutes in goal.
Linfield (0-2-0) aims to bounce back next week at home, as the 'Cats will host Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, and Warner Pacific on Monday in their first home matches of the early season.
