Linfield sophomore Cade Collins etched his name into the Linfield record books, being named to the Northwest Conference honorable mention team in a release announced Tuesday afternoon. Collins played a crucial role for the Wildcats this season and scored 17 points in Linfield's biggest win of the season at Whitman.
 
The 6'4" guard hails from Beaverton, Ore. and led the Wildcats in scoring at 12.7 points per game, ranking 13^th in the NWC. He also led the country for much of the season in free throw percentage and finished the year in eighth place, converting 90.1% of his attempts from the charity stripe.
 
Collins recorded a career-high 28 points against Willamette, going 10-of-17 from the field and hitting two his four attempts from behind the arc.
 
Momo Stokes from George Fox received the Player of the Year nod while Grant Hunt from Whitman won Defensive Player of the Year. Chad Murray out of Pacific Lutheran won Coach of the Year and Kai Brown put up 13.3 points per contest to secure Rookie of the Year.
