Three Wildcats showcased success on and off the field, earn CSC All-District honors

| By:
College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their annual Academic All-District honorees on Tuesday morning, listing three Linfield men's soccer student-athletes for their success athletically and academically. The CSC program highlights student-athletes who maintain a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average, as well as competing in at least 90% of a team's matches.

Sophomores Tate Bliss and Jaren Nishikawa join senior Sam Haynes as the Wildcat's representatives for the 2025 season.

Native of Denver, Colorado, Tate Bliss earned the honors for the first time in his career, starting 18 of 20 total matches played this season. The sophomore is currently majoring in exercise science, and maintains a 3.66 grade point average. Forward Sam Haynes notched his second CSC All-District honor, starting 17 of 20 matches played all while earning a 3.58 GPA, planning to graduate with his degree in sports management. Sophomore midfielder Jaren Nishikawa rounds out the Wildcat honorees, majoring in exercise science with a cumulative 3.70 GPA. Nishikawa started 11 of 20 matches played in 2025.
