Linfield looks to build momentum against Lewis & Clark

THE RECORDS
Linfield (5-3-2, 3-3 NWC) is flying high after two critical back-to-back wins against Whitman and Whitworth, snapping a three-match skid and returning to form in Northwest Conference play. The Wildcats now set their sights on Lewis & Clark (3-3-1, 1-2 NWC), a team eager to snap a two-match losing streak. With momentum regained, Linfield chases the top spot in the conference standings as they head into the heart of their NWC schedule.

LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
Julia Alvarez continues to shine for the Wildcats, leading the team with three goals while Mia Curtaz remains the team's key distributor with three assists, tied for second in the Northwest Conference. Newcomer Rae Gerking has also impressed this season with two goals of her own on just five shots. Goalkeeper Alexa Fritz, who is up to 27 saves and secured shutouts in both matches last week, has been a reliable presence in the net and looks to continue her solid play against the Pioneers.

LEWIS & CLARK AT A GLANCE
The Pioneers come into the week looking to climb the NWC standings after a 1-2 start to conference play. Forward Celeste Schreifels remains a bright spot, having scored nine of the team's 16 goals this season. Goalkeeping duties have been split between Anna Ingadottir and Delaney Jones. Ingadottir has three saves in two matches played while Jones leads the team with 24 saves in five matches. The Pioneers are conceding an average of 1.71 goals per match.

SERIES HISTORY
Linfield controls the all-time series against Lewis & Clark with a record of 25-9-7. However, the Pioneers have been surging in the series as of late, securing a 4-0-2 record in the past six matches. Linfield's last win came in 2021.
