THE RECORDS
Linfield (1-4, 0-1 NWC) looks to snap its four-match losing streak after dropping the Northwest Conference opener to Pacific (4-2, 1-0 NWC) on Sunday afternoon.  Linfield's first matchup of the week is a rematch in Forest Grove against the Boxers on Wednesday before the Wildcats travel to Puget Sound (1-2) to battle the Loggers on Saturday. Linfield wraps the week up on Sunday afternoon against Pacific Lutheran (2-1-1).
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
Linfield currently ranks second in the NWC in shots taken, but slip down to fifth in goals scored. The 'Cats also rank fifth in saves per match with 3.8. E.J. Sablan is the leading goal scorer for Linfield with two. Sid Kosaris is tied for the lead in NWC assists with three and also ranks fourth in shots with 12. Colby Reese and Jacob Toves remain Linfield's lead goalkeepers through five matches.  Toves currently has 11 saves on the season while Reese has eight.

At the start of the week, the Boxers currently sit at the top of the NWC with a 1-0 conference record.  They are averaging 1.8 goals per match behind the legs of Brodie Buchert, Donovan Jaramillo and Adam Landy who each have two goals on the young season.
 
PUGET SOUND AT A GLANCE
The Loggers are coming off their first win of the season against Multnomah where they put up five goals. Jackson Smith leads Puget Sound with three goals and one assist. Ryan Saunders anchors the Loggers defense having played the entirety of all three matches, recording 11 saves and allowing five goals.
 
PACIFIC LUTHERAN AT A GLANCE
The Lutes play Willamette before welcoming the Wildcats to Tacoma on Sunday afternoon. Their offense is led by Trevor Thompson who has netted six goals in 2024. Nicholas Gaston ranks first in the NWC in saves with 17.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Linfield and Pacific have met 62 times. The Wildcats are 24-32-6 in those matches. The 'Cats are 9-21-2 in Forest Grove. The 'Cats have dropped three straight to the Boxers. Pacific took the first meeting of 2024, winning 4-1 on Sept. 15 in McMinnville.
 
Linfield's all-time record against Puget Sound is 12-38-4.  The last meeting featured a 3-2 Linfield win on Nov. 5, 2023. The Wildcats are 6-21-1 in Tacoma with the last road victory over the Loggers coming in 2008.
 
Through 54 meetings, Linfield holds a 19-31-4 record against Pacific Lutheran. The Wildcats have a better record when playing in Tacoma at 10-14-2.
