TOURNAMENT GLANCE
Linfield University is serving as host this week for the four-team, double-elimination Northwest Conference Tournament. A berth in the NCAA Regionals awaits the winner of the championship game on Sunday.
Linfield won the regular-season championship for the fourth straight season. Lewis & Clark was the NWC runner-up while George Fox and Pacific Lutheran placed third and fourth, respectively.

HomeTown Tickets. Fans may also purchase tickets at the gate on game day.

LINFIELD WILDCATS (35-5, 23-5 NWC)

•The Wildcats secured the Northwest Conference regular season title for a 19th time overall and a fourth consecutive year
•Linfield's posted 21 straight seasons with at least 30 wins, finishing lower than second place in the NWC just once in that span. The Wildcats are hosting the league's conference tournament for the eighth time since it began in 2011.
•Linfield boasts Division III's top offense, leading the country in runs (375), home runs (80), average (.408), RBIs (357) and slugging (.699), and is also top five nationally in hits (464), OBP (.473) and doubles (85).
•
Claire Seats has been one of the top hitters in Division III this season, batting .475 and leading the nation with 142 total bases while sitting top five in home runs (18), doubles (22), hits (66), RBIs (65) and slugging (1.022).
•
Cydney Hess is top 10 in the country with 14 home runs and 50 RBIs.
Jacey Leyvas and
Ashlyn Aven are also in the top 20 nationally in homers with 12 and 11, respectively.
Brynn Nelson's 61 hits are top 20 in Division III.
•Linfield pitchers lead the NWC with a 3.05 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. The Wildcats have thrown a league-leading 20 shutouts, are second in the conference with a .256 opponent batting average and third with 187 strikeouts.

Tyler McNeley is top 10 in the country in complete games (20), shutouts (8) and wins, posting an NWC-leading 22-2 record. She also leads the league with 146 strikeouts and 142.0 innings pitched with a 2.71 ERA, .219 opponent batting average and 1.06 WHIP, all top three numbers in the conference.
Tyler Warden has totaled an 11-3 record with a 3.09 ERA and 1.51 WHIP.
LEWIS & CLARK PIONEERS (29-9, 21-7 NWC)
Mari Alvarez
•The Pioneers set new program records for overall and NWC wins to finish second in the league standings for a second straight year.
•Lewis & Clark is making its third NWC tournament appearance, all in the past five seasons.
•The Pioneers are second to the Wildcats in the NWC in runs scored (272), hits (365), RBIs (244), and on-base percentage (.418), with their .357 average also ranking among the top 25 nationally. Statistically, L&C is among the top three squads in the league in doubles (63) and triples (12) and have hit 19 home runs this season.
•
Sam Gildersleeve is batting .396 while sitting eighth in both slugging (.703) and OPS (1.180). She's tied for the league lead in triples (4) and for second in stolen bases (19), while sitting eighth in RBIs (35) and tenth in home runs (6).
•
Madison Scroggins leads Lewis & Clark with a .404 average while
Emily Patton is hitting .402 with a team-leading 45 hits. Patton is one of four additional Lewis & Clark players to join Gildersleeve with at least 20 RBIs this season, along with
Makena Dahir,
Mari Alvarez and
Gina Ozuna.

Lacey Marglin leads the team and is fifth in the NWC with 11 doubles, Ozuna and Alvarez have hit 10 apiece.
•The Pioneers have three solid options in the circle between
Maggie O'Leary,
Ryan Jurischk and
Charlize Pope. As a team they've posted a 3.34 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and .272 opponent batting average. They've struck out 157 batters while only 74, and were backed up by the NWC's top defense with a .974 fielding percentage, good enough for 16th in Division III.
•O'Leary leads the team with a 3.07 ERA and .229 opponent batting average in 127.2 innings pitched, striking out 96 batters, all good enough for top five in the league. Her 18-2 record is good enough for the seventh mot wins in Division III. Pope and Jurischk have combined for an 11-3 record in 20 starts.
GEORGE FOX BRUINS (25-15, 19-9 NWC)

•After missing last season's four-team playoff, the Bruins return to the NWC Tournament following a run of eight consecutive appearances. They've won 25 games for the eighth time in program history, all coming in the past 10 seasons.
•George Fox is making its 10th appearance in the NWC tournament, and ninth in the past 10 seasons.
•The Bruins finished just fourth in the NWC in runs with 231 but second only to Linfield in all of Division III with 55 home runs. As a team the Bruins hit .293 with a .379 on base percentage but slug .515, second in the league. They're second in the NWC in walks (115) but sit no higher than fourth in hits (231), doubles (49) and RBIs (212).

Sharon Tomei joins Seats as one of the top sluggers in Division III, sitting second in the nation with 19 home runs and third in slugging percentage at 1.032. She's third in the NWC with a .472 average and leads the league in OBP (.535) and OPS (1.559). She's collected the third most hits (59), while sitting fifth in the league in RBIs (44) and tenth in doubles (10).
•
Kiley Harris is second on the team with nine home runs and is top 10 in the league in slugging (.674), OPS (1.170) while leading the NWC in walks (28) and stolen bases (20).
Makayla Noone is second on the team behind Tomei in batting average at .352 while also tied for the league lead in triples (4) and for fourth in stolen bases (18).
•The Bruins pitching staff has combined for a 4.32 ERA, .281 opponent batting average and 1.52 WHIP this season. They've thrown five shutouts and have struck out 187 batters but have been prone to giving up home runs, allowing an NWC-high 32.
•
Nicole Ledendecker leads the team with 82.1 innings pitched and a 10-4 record, compiling a 3.66 ERA and 1.53 WHIP with a team-best 65 strikeouts.
Jordyn Relethford has gone 9-5 in 77.1 innings pitched with a 4.98 ERA.
Allison Heater's thrown 55.0 innings and leads the team with a 3.44 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and .238 opponent average.
PACIFIC LUTHERAN LUTES (27-13, 17-11 NWC)

•The Lutes enter the postseason riding the longest winning streak in the NWC, having won their last eight games (and 12 of their last 14) to finish above 20 wins for a fourth straight season and for a fifth time in the last six seasons.
•Pacific Lutheran is making its fourth consecutive NWC tournament appearance and eighth overall. PLU is the only program other than Linfield in this year's playoff field to have won the NWC Tournament title.
•With 31 home runs, the Lutes sit third in the NWC but are 14th nationally in that statistical category. They are third in the league in batting average (.329), runs (258), hits (361) RBI (241), walks (113) and OBP (.398). They're tied with Lewis & Clark with a league-leading 12 triples, are second in doubles with 67, and have a team slugging percentage of .497.

Zoe Smithson highlights the PLU offense, sitting fourth in the league in slugging (.797) and OPS (1.287) while leading the team with a .429 average and .490 OBP. She's third in the league in RBIs (50) and runs (43), whole sitting fourth in hits (57) and tied for the league lead in triples (4). She also leads the team with eight home runs and 12 stolen bases.

Bri Sarae is also top 10 in the league and second on the team in average, hitting .426.
Kamalani Doctor is top 10 in the league in slugging (.704), OBP (.486), OPS (1.190), RBIs (31), homers (7), walks (17) and triples (3), while sitting fifth with 51 runs scored.
•PLU pitchers led the NWC in opponent batting average, limiting hitters to just a .233 mark while posting the second-lowest ERA at 3.34 and WHIP at 1.28. The Lutes have tossed eight shutouts and lead the league with 220 strikeouts against 100 walks.

Paige Wilson leads the Lutes with a 12-5 record in 110.1 innings pitched. She leads the NWC in opponent average (.183) and WHIP (0.97) and is second in ERA (2.66). Her 110 strikeouts are third in the league.

Rachael Rhinehart has totaled a 7-5 record in 79.1 innings pitched, recording a 3.35 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and .237 opponent average. She's struck out 65 batters with 44 walks.
