FOREST GROVE, Ore. – In the deciding match Tuesday night at the Stoller Center, Linfield sophomore Ayana Medina pinned Paige Beals to clinch a 20-15 dual meet win over rival Pacific. The Wildcats also beat the Boxers 20-18 at home in November. 
 
Riley Omonaka set up the opportunity for the dual victory earlier in the night, with an 11-0 tech fall win over Pacific's Aurora Rager. It was only the second win during an injury-riddled season for Omonaka, and the first that wasn't a forfeit. 
 
"Riley showed up at the right time, and in awesome fashion," said coach Alyssa Lampe. "And Ayana locked it down when she had to. Every time our wrestlers step on the mat, they're getting better. It's showing." 
 
On the men's side, Ethan Ensrud picked up the 14^th win of his true freshman season with a start-to-finish 18-0 tech fall domination of the Boxers' Jevin Lim at 174 lbs. It was the Wildcats' sole win of the night in a 40-5 loss.
