McMINNVILLE, Ore. – All six of Linfield's seniors saw game action in an 89-76 win over Willamette on Senior Night in Ted Wilson Gymnasium on Saturday night.
Jack Greenwood led all scorers with a new career high of 23 points while
Jackson Dupree grabbed his second double in as many nights with 19 points and 10 rebounds. 89 points is the highest the Wildcats have scored in Northwest Conference play this season and the third-highest total on the year.
Nick Tripaldi finished with 10 points,
JT Estes added eight and
Joshua Ryan and
Reece Gibb chipped in seven each. Linfield shot 49 percent on 55 attempts and knocked down 10-26 shots from behind the arc.
Ryder Hsiung paced the Bearcats with 17 points and was one of five in double figures. D'Ante Dean and Josiah Frank each had 11 while Caleb Moore and Kahiau Bruhn finished with 10 apiece. Willamette (12-8, 7-5 NWC) shot 41 percent on 60 shot attempts and converted 8-28 shots from three.
Linfield led by as much as nine on multiple occasions in the first half. Six made threes paired with 53 percent shooting from the field charged a 40-31 Wildcats lead at the break. Dupree led all scorers with nine points at the break.
The Wildcats outscored the Bearcats again in the second half and saw their largest lead balloon to 17 near the eight-and-a-half-minute mark. Willamette scratched back within 10 but Linfield closed out the win at the free throw line, making 11-15 in the final two minutes.
