Wildcats prepare for the start of NWC play

THE RECORDS
Linfield enters the week fresh off an impressive win over Douglas College to wrap up the non-conference slate. The Wildcats (3-6) attempt to build on last year's in-conference performance where they finished 3-13. With a healthy number of returners and newcomers making solid contributions, Linfield is poised to make some noise in the Northwest Conference. Linfield travels to Forest Grove to take on Pacific (4-4) to kick off the weekend. The Boxers finished 9-7 in conference play a season ago and look ready to contend once again. The Wildcats then welcome George Fox (4-5) to Ted Wilson Gymnasium who went 7-9 last season but aim to build off some positive momentum from two straight wins coming into the week.

LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats rank fourth in the conference in three-point percentage at 34.2% and are led by sophomore Cade Collins who averages 11 points per game. Junior transfer Dayton Magaña bolsters the attack with 10.9 points per contest and Josh Ryan adds 8.7. Magaña stands among the NWC leaders in three-point percentage at 42.2% while Collins leads the league in free throw percentage at 95.8%. Cayden Lowenbach stands tall in the paint, leading the team in rebounds at 4.6 per competition and Garrett Callsen adds 3.6.

Winkler, along with Devin Fortune, provide a strong presence on the boards, with 6.4 and 6.0 rebounds per contest, respectively. On the defensive end, Joel Meske anchors the paint with 14 blocks so far this season.

GEORGE FOX AT A GLANCE'
The Bruins lead in conference in scoring at 84.2 points per game but also rank last in defense, relinquishing 86 points per contest. The high powered offense is directed by conference leader, Momo Stokes, whose 22.2 points are a career high. Samuel Stewart IV leads the rebounding for George Fox, pulling down 7.5 per game and Vanndon Heard anchors the paint with 10 blocks on the season. The Bruins do a good job of taking care of the ball, ranking third in the NWC in turnover margin at 3.5.
