Wildcats set to wrap up season against Bearcats, Bruins

THE RECORDS
Having just one match last week against Lewis & Clark in McMinnville, Linfield (5-7-6, 3-7-4 NWC) is determined to use the 0-0 draw against the Pioneers as motivation to finish the season on a high note as it prepares for its final two matches. Willamette (6-7-5, 5-6-3 NWC) is coming off a weekend where it lost to Whitworth and Whitman at home and currently sits five points above Linfield at fifth place in the NWC table. George Fox (5-10-3, 2-9-3 NWC) has nine points on the season and ranks just behind the Wildcats at seventh place in the conference table after road losses to Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran last weekend.

LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats are searching for offense having not found the back of the net in three straight matches. Freshman Julia Alvarez has cooled off after a hot start to the season but maintains her lead as Linfield's top goal scorer with four. Rae Gerking is close behind with two goals and an impressive .333 shot percentage. Senior Sidra Griffin remains a constant presence for the Wildcats, having played 1,445 minutes from the midfield and has one goal in her final season. Mia Curtaz keeps her unselfish play up with three assists to go along with 14 shots. Alexa Fritz has been a standout from the goalkeeper position. With 53 saves to her name, she has maintained an impressive save percentage of .815 over the course of 16 matches.

WILLAMETTE AT A GLANCE
The Bearcats offense has been bolstered by the high-powered leg of Nina Krassner-Cybulski whose 10 goals ranks third in the Northwest Conference. Behind Krassner-Cybulski is senior Ella Abraham and sophomore Ella McComas who both have two goals. Claire Warthen has proven to be another offensive threat with 34 shots this season. Goalkeeping duties have fallen into the hands of Sam Borngasser who has not disappointed. With 71 saves and an outstanding .807 save percentage, she ranks second in the conference.

GEORGE FOX AT A GLANCE
Directed by Becca Kozak with six goals, the George Fox attack averages .94 goals per game while the back line allows 1.78 goals per game. The Bruins aim to tip the margin scales back into balance this week with matches against Lewis & Clark and Linfield. Liv Haima tops the team with 30 shots and has contributed four goals in her sophomore season. Emily Robey has proved to be a formidable presence in goal for the Bruins. With an impressive total of 93 saves Robey sits alone at the top of the conference leaderboard.
