MSOC Academic All-District

Haynes and Bozovic receive CSC All-District honors

Radule Bozovic and Sam Haynes from the Linfield men's soccer program have received honors for their accomplishments both on and off the soccer pitch. They have been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators NCAA Division III Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, which was announced Tuesday.
 
Bozovic, a junior from La Grange, Illinois played in 18 matches this past season, starting in 16 of them. He tallied five shots, with four of them being on target. He racked up 1,365 minutes in 2024 and is majoring in finance and accounting.
 
This marks Haynes' second career selection to the All-District team. The junior out of Franklin High School appeared in 16 matches, starting 14 of them. He recorded one goal, 13 shots and eight shots on goal this season. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Haynes is majoring in sport management.
 
Nominees for Academic All-District consideration must maintain a 3.50 GPA and appear in 90 percent of the team's contests or be a starter in 60 percent of their team's competitions. All-district honorees now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot with winners set to be announced in December.
