Season concludes at NCAA West Region Championships

ESTACADA, Ore. – Four of Linfield's five men's competitors achieved season brest times over the eight-kilometer distance on Saturday as Linfield closed out the 2024 season at the NCAA Division III West Region Cross Country Championships at McIver State Park.
 
The Linfield men placed 19th among 24 teams. Entering just four athletes in the women's race, the Wildcats squad did not register a team score.
 
MEN
As he has done all season, Wildcats senior Alex Oathout was Linfield's leading finisher, crossing the finish line in 35th place in a season-best time of 25 minutes, 13.5 seconds.
 
Devin Harrison clocked 26:10 to claim 82nd place while Bradley Kiltow turned in a season-best effort by finishing 135th in 27:43.3.
 
Conner Dooley (159th in 28:54.4) and Levi Jones (164th in 29:39.5) also factored into Linfield's team score.
 
WOMEN
Jayden Taylor led the way over the six-kilometer course, taking 152nd place in 25:31.7. Leah Stednick was 24 seconds behind in 156th place, finishing in 25:55.2l. Saniyah Ayala (159th in 26:09.6) and Liberty McElfatrick also represented Linfield at the regional championships.
