Ran a time of 29:00.0 in the 8K at the NWC XC Championships, placing 70th.
Finished with a time of 28:07.6 in the 8K at the George Oja Invitational.
Clocked a time of 29:06.0 in the 8K at the NCAA Division III West Regionals.
SOPHOMORE
Letter winner in cross country and track and field.
FRESHMAN
Letterwinner in cross country and track and field.
NWC Scholar-Athlete.
Ran a season-best time of 22:23.2 in the 6K at the Western Oregon Ash Creek Invitational on Sept. 10.
Finished with a season-best of 29:47.6 in the 8K at the Western Oregon Mike Johnson Classic on Sept. 24.
Placed 79th at the NWC Championships on Oct. 30 in 31:58.6.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Majoring in physics and mathematics.
Attended Foothill High School.
Also competes in track and field at Linfield.
Spent the summers of 2022 and 2023 interning with Dr. Crosser of Graphene Biosensors.
Interned with Dr. Dey of Medical Physics during the summer of 2024.
Defending champion for "Race to Space." Ran 8 hours and finished first, two years in a row.
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best class I have taken is Electromagnetism because it pushed me more than I’ve ever been pushed before. The concepts I learned elevated my intellectual outlook on the world.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My greatest inspiration comes from Josh Kerr. He won bronze, and silver, looking forward to a gold in four years. Kerr demonstrates dedication and determination to meet his goals.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... Some people are talented, some people work hard, the fortunate few are those who do both.
