THE RECORDS
Linfield (2-13-2, 1-10-2 NWC) is coming off of a busy weekend where it traveled to Spokane in a match against Whitworth before going straight to Walla Walla to take on Whitman the next day. The Wildcats were unable to come away with a win after two hard fought battles and have now gone six straight matches without a victory. Linfield aims to change that against Lewis & Clark (0-15, 0-11 NWC) at the Linfield Soccer Complex on Wednesday. Linfield's lone conference win of the season came against the Pioneers earlier this year where the Wildcats won 2-1 in Portland.
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats are averaging one goal per match but are conceding 2.88 per match. The defense aims to tighten its hold on opposing offenses as
Jacob Toves stands tall in the goal with 64 saves in his promising freshman campaign. Offensively,
E.J. Sablan continues to lead the Wildcats in goal scoring with six. After another goal over the weekend,
Sid Kosaris is up to three on the season and a handful of Wildcats have one. Sablan and Kosaris have also been effective distributing the ball with four assists and senior
Cameron Gaines ranks third on the team with two.
LEWIS & CLARK AT A GLANCE
The Pioneers rank last in the NWC in scoring margin at -3.2. They are allowing opponents to score 3.6 goals per match and are sure to come our hungry as they continue to search for the first win in program history. Ishan Abraham has been a bright spot for Lewis & Clark as the senior has two goals scored this season. Daniel Estoll has been the facilitator for the Pioneers, tallying two assists this season. Goalkeeping duties have been spread far and wide this season with four different goalkeepers seeing substantial playing time. Micaiah Garan proves to be the leader among the four, recording 25 saves and a .653 save percentage.
